I don't give a rat's tail if you call them Trends or streaks, it all comes out to the same meaning. Everything in gambling is based on patterns of play.
My every gambling foray is based on following the Trend of the game I'm at, or pre setting which way I want to bet and then looking for a table that has the Trend following that pattern.
Let's explain that last paragraph so that I don't lose a majority of you this early in the book. Since we're talking about Roulette, let's say that will be our game on this particular day.
My play will be either:
1. Follow the Trend
2. Pre determined Set Pattern
If I choose number 1 I'll go to a table, chart which pattern is dominating, and make my bets in that area.
Suppose low numbers (1 18) come up on seven out of ten spins while I'm charting that table. My game plan will be to start betting on these low numbers.
If my game plan that day is no. 2, then I will pre¬determine my method of play. Let's say I decide on odd numbers to be my choice.
When I get to the Roulette section in the casino, my job will be to chart tables untiI one of them shows a pre dominance of odd numbers appearing on the wheel. That's the game I'll play at, but only if odd numbers are in command.
Both of these methods will be banged around in depth later on, but I want you conditioned for strict controlled play.
Trends belong with the Little 3, but it's so powerful a tool that it deserves it's own chapter.
Jake Dajerc is a typical jerk when it comes to gambling. His idea of playing Roulette is to wait for something to happen three times in a row and then bet that the opposite will occur,
Let's say 14, 17 and 2 showed three times in a row all low numbers. Dajerc will bet that a high number will show (19 36) and make his wager.
Maybe 28 will pop up. Our hero acts like he's discovered a lobe of gold in his left ear. Then he dislocates his elbow patting himself on the back.
You'll get these instances where your system will fall according to plan. But just one tiny streak of 8 straight small numbers showing and Jake will be in jeopardy, especially if he's using a double up method of betting.
Trends dominate in gambling! First, you gotta realize this fact. Next, you gotta find the table showing a strong Trend. Then you gotta know how to take ad¬vantage of it.
